Two joys, beautifully together.
Marriage & shared joy
Double Happiness joins two forms of xi, the character for joy. It is closely associated with Chinese weddings and wishes for a happy marriage.
Inside this paper pattern
Two forms of Xi, the character for joy, stand together. The straight bars and rectangular openings reward careful turns at each corner.
A wish to give
Choose a paper color and take your time with the openings. Export your finished piece as a keepsake or share it with someone you care about. Meanings in folk art vary by place and occasion; the wish you add can be personal.
