Connection & togetherness
A little reminder of the ties we keep.
Connection & togetherness
Chinese decorative knots turn continuous cord into interlaced forms. This paper interpretation borrows their loops to express connection and togetherness.
Inside this paper pattern
Diagonal loops interlace above a hanging tassel. This is a paper study of Chinese decorative knotwork, rather than a knot-tying diagram.
A wish to give
Choose a paper color and take your time with the openings. Export your finished piece as a keepsake or share it with someone you care about. Meanings in folk art vary by place and occasion; the wish you add can be personal.
