A long and happy life
The peach is a familiar Chinese symbol of longevity, associated with stories of the peaches of immortality. Peach-shaped gifts often carry birthday wishes.
Inside this paper pattern
The fruit has a pointed base, a curved central crease, and one slanting leaf. Its broad openings make this birthday wish easy to cut.
A wish to give
Choose a paper color and take your time with the openings. Export your finished piece as a keepsake or share it with someone you care about. Meanings in folk art vary by place and occasion; the wish you add can be personal.
