As you wish, with all your heart.
May wishes come true
Ruyi means as you wish. The curved ceremonial scepter with a cloud-like head became an auspicious object associated with the fulfillment of good wishes.
Inside this paper pattern
A cloud-shaped head sits on a long, curved handle. This flat-sheet carving preserves the asymmetry of a ceremonial ruyi scepter.
A wish to give
Choose a paper color and take your time with the openings. Export your finished piece as a keepsake or share it with someone you care about. Meanings in folk art vary by place and occasion; the wish you add can be personal.
